I've been familiar with the ultrabasics of HTML since the middle 2000s but I haven't seriously used them for more than marking up slashdot comments in a decade. I can't fucking believe I used to think the users there were smart. I still keep up with the comments (using alterslash) and the hyperlibertarian brainrot of the remaining commentariat is always on full and indecent display. Not a lot of leftwingers still around over there, and more's the pity. I think they got driven off by the assholes. I certainly was.
I've been using tumblr since 2011 and I've recently decided I needed a bit more of a broader web presence (such as this can be). The damn place is... well it's certainly full of fucking bigots and the site administration is of dubious alignment. For claiming to be the queerest place on the internet, they sure do seem to censor a lot of transfems existing and talking in non-adult ways. Bastards.
I don't expect to be updating this place a lot but I might as well make it now.
